Charities... protect yourself and at the same time claim the full 28% of government Gift Aid
Charities face the challenge of collecting and administrating the data needed to safely claim Gift Aid in full. Charities are also reliant on information being sent to the donor and in turn it being replied to.
HMRC changes mean administration of this function can be reduced and in turn an increase in revenue can be realised with ease:
“Gift Aid declarations can, however, be stored as scanned or micro-fiche copies of the original documents, or as digital recordings of verbal declarations, as long as the records can be searched and individual declarations located as required“ HMRC website
